Here at ONEsite, we've moved into a more spacious area of our building.  It's pretty awesome not having to move our stuff but just a few hundred yards down a couple of (LONG) halls.  Below is a view from my new office door out into the main working area.  I think you'll agree, it is a pretty unique environment and a wide open space (not sure why Dixie Chicks suddenly appeared in my brain, scary).

Plus for me and the rest of the team, change is good.  Our old space was getting congested (literally and figuratively).

But is that the only criteria companies should use to determine success?  Absolutely not.  Here are five other important elements to running a successful company.

1. Good leadership.  Honestly, without good leaders, you will struggle at maintaining success even with the steadiest of growth.  When times are good, it's easy to accept responsibility and shine the light on yourself.  But when a down quarter happens, that's where you can truly separate the "doers" from the "sayers".  You have got to have a brave and durable captain to guide you, Bob Crull is that person for ONEsite.  And he has to delegate and put trust in others to turn the ship around when needed.  Our President Andy Hale is an example of such a person. Each employee gets to see what strong work ethics, loyalty, and integrity look like everyday.

I’d like to extend an offer to all clients, partners and anyone interested in learning about the ONEsite framework to join us for ONEsite training sessions. This is a perfect opportunity for developers, designers and even executives to get hands on training directly from the ONEsite team.

During the sessions you’ll first practical and first-hand knowledge about the tools and features we offer including our asset management system, site design and layout managers as well as widgets, APIs and best practices for integration and framework use. We offer either online or in-person sessions at our corporate office in Oklahoma City. These are great sessions that prove infinitely valuable to all those who attend. I would highly recommend scheduling sessions for your development and creative staff.

From a personal perspective, I wish I would have time to actually stop and enjoy the sights with this trip.  Right now, we are booked solid from Tuesday through Thursday (June 5 through 7).  We have meetings with existing clients, potential new ones, along with leading creative agencies.

Capcom has setup custom groups for each one of their largest game franchises, including Street Fighter, Resident Evil, and Mega Man.  In these group settings, users can have focused discussions and post shared content to other members of the groups, and can provide the company valuable feedback on future direction of the titles, like potential new characters, settings, weapons, and challenges.
